The analyst Hendi Susanto, Gabelli & Co. put the sale of iPAD's as of 3/25/11 8.80 million units. On June 28th, Apple announced that it sold 1.7 million iPHONE 4's in just the 3 days after the launch. Analysts no longer ask about the sales numbers, They are more interested to know if Apple can build them fast enough. The ANDROID numbers are just as impressive with an array of highly innovative phones spanning a wide range of carriers world wide, and price points. The AppStore and Android Market Place have grown into their Own Sales and Promotion Category. With the rapid growth of internet enabled mobile devices, iPhone/iPod touch applications are a great way to reach out to a massive audience of online mobile consumers to drive revenue and brand engagement.
